• Fabrication and construction    Local fabrication and construction processes are fully integrated with engineering operations to provide complete service. Expertise is offered in the fabrication of piping systems, heat exchangers and pressure vessels, reactors, boilers, towers, process skids, tanks, furnaces, cold boxes and specialty equipment.
   
• Safety trained    The Sarnia Construction Association, the Sarnia Heavy Construction Association, the Sarnia-Lambton Industrial Education Co-operative, and the workforce have resulted in a Lost Time Injury record substantially better than the Ontario average. Compared to Ontario's frequency of 2.10 for every 2,000 hours worked, Sarnia-Lambton sustained 0.60; the Sarnia Construction Association 0.23; and the Sarnia Heavy
  Construction Association 1.20 (source -  WSIB, 2006 data).

Mentioned above, the Sarnia-Lambton Industrial Educational Co-operative (IEC) is an organization of 26 industrial companies in Sarnia-Lambton, and Lambton College. The organization provides safety training and certification to over 200 industrial contractors who service the 26 IEC member companies' industrial sites. Sarnia-Lambton's safety performance continues to improve steadily, reaching world-class performance.
