Lambton Shores' Forest Industrial Park

The economically diverse Municipality of Lambton Shores occupies 82,039 acres (332 square-kilometres)  in northeast Sarnia-Lambton, along the shores of Lake Huron. Manufacturing, agriculture and tourism are the leading drivers of the economy. Encompassing the communities of Arkona, Bosanquet, Forest, Grand Bend, Port Franks and Thedford, Lambton Shores' population is 10,656.

With its sandy beaches on Lake Huron, the Oak Savanna Forest of the Pinery Provincial Park, and scenic waterfalls at Rock Glen, Lambton Shores is a picturesque community that draws many tourists.

The town of Forest is a major service centre for the surrounding community, as well as a central commercial area and home to a cluster of industrial manufacturing companies.

In the north, agriculture and tourism are the focus of economic activity. The muck-soil areas near Grand Bend, Bosanquet and Thedford grow specialty crops such as potatoes, celery, and cooking onions as well as traditional field crops such as corn, soybeans and winter wheat.
