August 14, 2017 – Melanie Irwin, Blackburn News – A new development at the foot of Main St. in Grand Bend is taking shape.
The owner of The Growling Gator restaurant is building a three story structure, on the north side right before the beach, that will be used commercially on the ground floor with residential units above it.
Lambton Shores Mayor Bill Weber is pleased to see the progress.
“A number of years ago the municipality made improvements to Main St. and our beach and commercial businesses in the area have bought into that and are making improvements to their properties as well,” says Weber.
Weber says it will be a show piece right on the edge of the beach and he’s looking forward to its completion by next May.
