Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership hosting 2019 Annual General Meeting

 

 

The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership will host its Annual General Meeting at the Sarnia Riding Club on Tuesday, June 18.

Including a yearly update from organization Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Thompson, the Economic Partnership’s Annual General Meeting will also feature keynote addresses from Jenn Maclean, Director of Collaboration with Next Generation Manufacturing (NGen) Canada, and Karlis Vasarais, President of Imtex Membranes Corp.

NGen Canada’s presentation on collaboration will highlight the benefits of joining the The Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster and how interested parties can access up to $190 million in funding for projects.

In January of this year, Imtex Membranes Corp. announced plans for a scaled demonstration site that will be located within the Sarnia-Lambton Hybrid Chemistry Cluster, and will join the list of speakers to share how their revolutionary technology can change the hybrid chemistry world and why Sarnia-Lambton is an ideal location for advances in hybrid chemistry.

Beginning at 8:00am, the Annual General Meeting will include a continental breakfast, networking opportunities, and a chance for residents of the Sarnia-Lambton area to learn more about the positive developments that are happening daily in the region.

“We are excited to be able to share information on economic development projects,” Thompson said of the Annual General Meeting.

“One year since announcing our new strategic plan, a number of exciting initiatives are underway that the public can be excited about,” he added.
