Mr. and Mrs. Max Wiener, of Advanced Finishing Technologies Inc., are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of their new manufacturing facility in the Moore Industrial Park.
The 25,000 square foot plant will initially employ 30 people and, at full production, about 50 people.
The $2 million facility provides micro-etching, electro-polishing, chrome flashing and colouring of stainless steel to the automotive industry. Major customers include Daimler/Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, and also firms in the pharmaceutical and bicycle industries.
Mr. Wiener said, “The availability and quality of the local labour force was a key reason for choosing this area.”
Mr. Wiener also noted that he is extremely pleased with the co-operation he has received from the Township of Moore.
