What is Digital MainStreet?
Sarnia-Lambton’s Economic Partnership is launching a new program to help main street businesses achieve a digital transformation. The Digital Mainstreet program will provide the businesses of Sarnia-Lambton an opportunity to implement free digital tools and technologies to help make them the most tech-savvy and competitive businesses in the province.
The Digital Mainstreet Program provides businesses with free one-on-one digital assessments and training to learn how to implement the most suitable digital tools. The Digital Mainstreet is administered by the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s Business Enterprise Centre and is funded by the OBIAA
How our Digital Service Squad can help you:
- Set up a website or social media presence
- Take a 360-degree video of your location
- Set-up or update your Google My Business profile
- Assist in growing your social media presence
- Establish email marketing
About Our Digital Service Squad
Our Digital Service Squad consists of two team members; Adam Veen and Katie Mazur.
Adam is a Public Relations Professional who graduated from Western University and Wilfred Laurier University with degrees in Philosophy, Psychology and Public Relations. Specializing in digital media marketing and analytics, Adam has assisted in the growth and long-term prosperity of national retail distribution and local non-profit organizations. In his spare time Adam gives back to the community through various volunteering endeavours.

Katie is a recent graduate from Ryerson University, obtaining a Bachelor of Technology in Graphic Communications Management with a minor in Professional Communications. Katie’s is our expert in web development and social media growth. While managing a handful of social media accounts, Katie finds passion in helping businesses expand their digital presence. When Katie is not in the office, she enjoys being out on the water taking in the beautiful views of Lake St. Clair.

How to Apply
Call 519-332-1820 or email Katie (email@example.com) or Adam (firstname.lastname@example.org) to make an appointment with one of our experienced Digital Service Squad team members to learn more about this program and what we can do to help you. Interest applicants are encouraged to contact Katie or Adam by October 31st, 2019.
Show up to the first meeting and be prepared to discuss your online presence
- What you hope to improve/establish
- Areas you need help with
- Questions or concerns you may have regarding your online presence (social media, website or Google related)
Our Digital Service Squad will request a one-on-one consultation to conduct a digital assessment and answers any questions and concerns you may have regarding your online presence.
To apply for the grant you must create a profile on www.digitalmainstreet.ca and complete the online ‘Digital Assessment’.
Businesses in the Sarnia-Lambton area that do not wish to apply for the Digital Transformation grant are encouraged to reach out to our Digital Service Squad if they need any digital assistance.
Through Digital Mainstreet you receive access to free digital tools and technologies, free one-on-one coaching and assistance and access to the Digital Transformation Grant of up to $2,500. To read more about the Digital Transformation Grant visit www.digitalmainstreet.ca
