Skydiving instruction, beginners can take a 6-hour course and do a free fall skydive assisted by two instructors. The freefall is about 25 seconds and the parachute descent takes four to five minutes. Beginners receive steering instructions by radio. A DVD video of the jump can be purchased. Courses are available some weekdays and most weekends April through October. Beginners must be 16 years or older (under 18 require parental permission). Participants should be in good health and physically fit. Anyone over 50 must have a medical. Gift certificates are available.
