Canadian Tire is expanding its Sarnia location.
Oxford Properties Group and Canadian Tire have finalized an agreement enabling Canadian Tire to relocate and expand its existing store within Lambton Mall.
The $8.8 million expansion is to a 146,000 square foot facility, featuring a gas bar, 81,000 square feet of retail space, brighter lighting, wider aisles, more navigational signs and more selection.
Renovations will begin shortly and should be completed by the spring.
Also included in the renovations is a new automotive service centre, a new entranceway connecting the mall and the store and an increase in parking spaces by approximately 2,000.
Mark’s Work Wearhouse, which is owned by Canadian Tire, will also expand it’s store in the mall, to 22,000 square feet from 12,000.
