The community brand has been created to produce a consistent message for all of Lambton County, with elements that can be easily incorporated for use by business, government, residents, the tourism sector, and community organizations.

Don Anderson, GM of the Sarnia-Lambton Business Development Corporation and one of 12 representatives from across Lambton that has been working on the development of the brand, noted, “It has been a process that has involved a lot of the community – companies, organizations, and residents have provided their thoughts and ideas. We truly feel it is a community effort, and that it is a brand that encompasses all of Lambton County.”

The group of local organizations has been working over the past two years on the brand creation. Destination marketing company North Star Destination Strategies carried out in-depth research, gathering input from over 2,000 contacts representing Sarnia-Lambton residents, businesses, community leaders, and contacts from competing regions in Michigan and the GTA.

The creation of the brand logo and tag line was carried out by marketing and graphics company Yfactor.

The organizations that have been instrumental in creating the brand are: Blue Water Bridge Canada; Community Round Table; County of Lambton; Grand Bend and Area Chamber of Commerce; Lambton College; Sarnia-Lambton Business Development Corporation; Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce; Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership; Sarnia-Lambton Local Immigration Partnership; Sarnia-Lambton Real Estate Board; Sarnia Lambton Workforce Development Board; and Tourism Sarnia-Lambton.
