- Comet Biorefining, using corn stover and agriculture waste to create sugar as a replacement for petroleum products
- Suncor Energy, using corn to create ethanol
- Sarnia- Lambton Research Park, providing a innovative resource space for research and development into new environmentally friendly industrial processes
