Learning for Life: Entrepreneurship Series Launching This Winter

The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership is pleased to announce its continued partnership with Lambton County Library to host two series of online Entrepreneurship webinars this winter.

Entrepreneurship 101 will focus on providing residents of Lambton County with the tools they need to enter the world of entrepreneurship, while also showcasing the Lambton County Library system’s resources to support development of businesses. This will build into two additional sessions on researching and writing your business plan as well as utilizing the free resources available through the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s Business Enterprise Centre.

“This webinar series is an excellent opportunity for residents throughout Lambton County to be introduced to entrepreneurship as well as aid existing entrepreneurs in their business journey,” said Stephen Thompson, CEO of the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership.

“The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s Business Enterprise Centre has a wealth of resources to help residents bring their vision to life, and Lambton County Library provides the region with unparalleled access to even more resources that can undoubtedly benefit aspiring entrepreneurs. We couldn’t be happier to partner with them on this initiative,” he added.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has created a lot of change in our local economy. We know entrepreneurs and small businesses are looking for resources to help them be successful,” says Andrea Basra, Public Services Coordinator – Adult Programs & Outreach.

“Developing virtual programming to combine the Library’s resources with the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s expertise in business development and growth will be beneficial for those wanting to start their own business in these unprecedented times.”

Two separate series of webinars have been scheduled to provide convenient options for interested parties to choose from. Each series will cover the same material and will take place over the course of four weeks with the first series starting on the evening of February 3rd, 2021 and the second commencing on the morning of February 20th, 2021.
