Minimum Wage in Ontario Increases Today

Via the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development Employment Standards Program:

As of Oct. 1, the general minimum wage province-wide will change to $14.25 an hour, up from $14. Student minimum wage will go up from $13.15 an hour to $13.40, and liquor servers’ wage will go from $12.20 to $12.45 per hour. These rates will remain in place for one year.
