New steel recycling facility

From CHOK Radio

Southwestern Ontario’s newest steel recycling facility is up and running in Sarnia.  Premier Recycling expands a business started in Timmins in 1993… There are five employees in Sarnia, a number expected to double in the months ahead.  Operations Manager Philip Horwood says business opportunities look good in the Sarnia area.  Scraps include engineering and heavy melting steels,  tin, and cast iron collected from area companies and residents.  Mr Horwood estimates once their facility on Gladwish Drive is fully operational, 2 thousand tonnes of steel a month will be transported to mills and foundries across Southwestern Ontario and southeastern Michigan.
