RMH Teleservices Inc. announces major Sarnia expansion

RMH Teleservices, Inc. today announced it will be expanding its Sarnia location by 400 positions in response to its continuing success in attracting new clients.

Executive Vice President, Mike Scharff, says, “The new in-bound expansion will be housed in Building 1040 of the Dow Modeland Center where the company will lease an additional 23,690 square feet of space. Renovations will be completed by February 1, 2001 when operations are expected to commence.”

Sarnia Mayor, Mike Bradley, says, “The RMH announcement is an early Christmas present. RMH has quickly become a major corporate citizen of Sarnia and it reflects the ‘new’ Sarnia.”

RMH has hired over 600 people in Sarnia since its opening in April, 2000, and the expansion will make it Sarnia-Lambton’s fourth largest private sector employer. RMH Chief Executive Officer, John Fellows, says, “I’m very excited about the expansion and the quality of the Sarnia labour pool. Our Sarnia staff is among the best we have.”

Warden Pat Davidson says, “We are very pleased with this latest announcement and the contribution that RMH is making to the local economy.”
