Powering a Sustainable WorldTM
To be used as the catch phrase accompanying Sarnia-Lambton’s informational and promotional materials, this new tag line reflects the world-wide recognition Sarnia-Lambton is gaining in the areas of sustainable energy, renewable fuels, and industrial bioproducts.
Over the past number of years the Sarnia-Lambton community has worked diligently to expand on its existing strengths in the chemical and refining sectors. With a history dating to the Lambton oil fields of the mid 1800s, the community continues to be a leading energy centre, for both traditional and new sustainable energy. Community initiatives are coming to fruition, with a number of projects announced or underway:
