Whether you’re looking to improve your resume, practice interview skills, or receive expert career coaching, this program will help you unlock your career potential and make your mark in Sarnia-Lambton!
Through Career Accelerator, you will gain access to tailored services designed to boost your career readiness, with personalized 1-on-1 coaching to guide you at every step. Lambton College international students will benefit from industry-specific insights, local connections, and comprehensive job market preparation to navigate career opportunities successfully.
All Lambton College international students needing assistance will be invited to complete the Get Hired Masterclass—a free, comprehensive course provided through Lambton College. This masterclass equips you with essential job-seeking skills and strategies to get started.
Next, book a 1-on-1 Career Coach Career Accelerator which will show you the current available time slots to book an appointment.
Please note that in order to book your 1-on-1 career coach for free, you will complete a short form to verify your eligibility. This form will help us confirm that you are:
We’ll review your application to confirm eligibility and ensure the program meets your specific needs.
Once approved, you will receive a calendar invitation to your coaching session at the time you have selected.
During your one-on-one coaching session (60 minutes), you’ll receive hands-on support from an expert who will provide tailored advice on improving your resume and enhancing your interview skills. This session is designed to address your unique career goals and challenges, ensuring you leave well-prepared for the job market.
Within three to five days of your coaching session, you’ll receive comprehensive feedback from your coach. This includes personalized guidance on refining your resume, actionable tips on interview performance, and insights to help you make informed career decisions moving forward.
Once you successfully complete the program, you’ll be connected to the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s network and programs. You will also be invited to join the Explore Talent in Sarnia-Lambton portal, where you can further engage with employers actively hiring in the region.
