Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership Accepting Applications for Board of Directors

Sarnia, ON — The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP) is currently accepting applications to fill one volunteer Director position on its Board of Directors. The successful candidate will serve a three-year term and play a key role in guiding the organization’s efforts to foster economic growth and investment in the Sarnia-Lambton region.

SLEP is the lead economic development agency for Sarnia-Lambton, a region recognized for its excellence in chemistry, energy innovation, and advancing a low-carbon economy. The organization works to coordinate community-based economic initiatives, support business retention and expansion, and create a commercially attractive environment for new investment.

“SLEP is proud to lead and support efforts that drive economic growth and investment across Sarnia-Lambton,” said Adrienne Lee, Chair of the SLEP Board of Directors. “We are seeking a committed individual who shares our vision for a thriving, innovative region and is ready to bring their expertise and leadership to our Board.”

To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of and/or own a business in Lambton County, which includes the City of Sarnia, Municipality of Lambton Shores, Town of Petrolia, Town of Plympton-Wyoming, Township of Dawn-Euphemia, Township of Brooke-Alvinston, Township of Enniskillen, Township of St. Clair, Township of Warwick, Village of Point Edward, and Village of Oil Springs. All applications will be considered; however, preference will be given to candidates residing within the South (St. Clair, Dawn-Euphemia, Brooke-Alvinston), Central (Petrolia, Enniskillen, Point Edward, Oil Springs), or North (Lambton Shores, Plympton-Wyoming, Warwick) quadrants.
