New Air Canada Motorcoach Service Enhances Sarnia-Lambton Connectivity

The City of Sarnia, in partnership with Tourism Sarnia-Lambton, has announced a new collaboration with Air Canada and The Landline Company to introduce a seamless ground-to-air travel connection between Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport (YZR) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), beginning June 15, 2026.

The service allows travellers to book their entire journey, including the motorcoach segment, through Air Canada as a single itinerary. Passengers departing from Sarnia will be able to check in at the local airport, tag their bags, and receive boarding passes for all segments before boarding a premium motorcoach.

Operated by Landline, the service will offer two daily round trips timed to connect with major departing flights from Toronto. The motorcoach features 2×1 leather seating, extended legroom, Wi-Fi, and onboard power, providing a comfortable and efficient alternative to driving.

Upon arrival at Toronto Pearson, passengers will proceed directly to bag drop and security for their onward flights. Travellers will also receive the same protections as standard airline itineraries in the event of delays.

This new connection strengthens Sarnia-Lambton’s access to national and international markets, supports regional mobility, and enhances the overall travel experience for residents and businesses.
