The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP) is pleased to welcome Kelly Hill as the new Manager of the Business Enterprise Centre (BEC), where she will lead programs and services that support entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Sarnia-Lambton.

The Business Enterprise Centre helps aspiring entrepreneurs and existing businesses at every stage of their journey by providing business advisory services, business planning support, mentorship, training, and access to funding opportunities and resources. Through provincial and local programs, the BEC works to help businesses start, grow, and succeed in Sarnia-Lambton.

Kelly brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, business leadership, entrepreneurship, and post-secondary education.

Throughout her career, she has worked with entrepreneurs, business owners, students, and organizations to strengthen financial performance, improve operations, and support sustainable growth. Her experience spans senior leadership, teaching, consulting, and business ownership, providing her with a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges businesses face at every stage of growth.

Kelly spent more than two decades at Lambton College, where she held senior leadership positions before teaching entrepreneurship, accounting, finance, and business operations. As the founder of Profit & Lattes Inc., she also worked directly with entrepreneurs to improve profitability, strengthen cash flow, develop business plans, and build financial confidence.

As both a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and entrepreneur, Kelly combines practical business experience with a passion for helping business owners make informed decisions and achieve long-term success.

"Entrepreneurs and small businesses thrive in Sarnia-Lambton because they are supported by experts in all things entrepreneurship," said Matthew Slotwinski, Chief Executive Officer of the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership. "Kelly brings a wealth of advisory and teaching experience to her role with the Business Enterprise Centre and, most importantly, she has lived the life of an entrepreneur. Her ability to draw upon both the theoretical and practical realities of small business ownership and operation will bring tremendous value to those exploring entrepreneurship and growing their businesses in our community."

In her role as Manager of the Business Enterprise Centre, Kelly will oversee programs and services that support entrepreneurs from idea to growth. She will work closely with clients to connect them with expert advice, funding opportunities, educational programming, and local resources that help businesses build a strong foundation and achieve sustainable growth.

The Business Enterprise Centre is part of the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership and is funded in part by the Province of Ontario. Through personalized guidance, educational workshops, and business support programs, the BEC helps foster entrepreneurship and contributes to a strong and resilient local economy.
