Melanie Irwin - Blackburn News Sarnia, Nov. 15, 2019Intercommunity bus service from Sarnia to London could finally start next spring.Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey says the service is now scheduled to begin in early 2020 � with stops in Strathroy and Mt. Brydges.Bailey said buses, with 10-24 seats, will operate five days a week and make multiple round trips.�It�s going to be accessible for people with wheelchairs and other needs, so that�s great for people who want to make medical appointments in London, or business opportunities that don�t have a ride,� said Bailey.Sarnia learned its joint bid with Strathroy-Caradoc for $1.45 million in funding from Ontario�s Community Transportation Grant program was successful in May 2018.The grant was reconfirmed after the 2018 provincial election.
