From CHOK Radio Construction is about to begin on a 12-million dollar pilot project at Sarnia-Lambton's UWO Research Park. Mississauga-based Woodland Biofuels is moving forward with a 750-thousand litre demonstration-scale cellulosic ethanol production facility. Financing has been secured, including 4-million dollars from the provincial government. Joel Adams, Executive Director at the Modeland Road facility, welcomes the investment. Woodland President CEO Greg Nuttall says construction should be complete in 15 months. A year-and-a-half from now Nuttall says the company hopes to begin building a 20-million gallon commercial plant, but likely not in this area. Construction of the pilot plant is expected to create 25-50 jobs, with 10 jobs to be maintained at the plant ;
