October 3, 2016 - The Sarnia Journal - The Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park has received an international award.The Sarnia-based facility, part of the wider Western Research Parks, was recognized by the Association of University Research Parks at the organization�s annual conference in Oklahoma City on Sept. 30.The award is presented to universities and research parks operating effectively and making a quantifiable contribution to their community.Western Research Parks was the first in Ontario and third in Canada to earn the distinction.The Sarnia campus was created in 2003 and is home to a number of high profile tenants, including Nova Chemicals, Enbridge and WorleyParsons.
