Western Ontario Fall Funder Forums 2025

The Western Ontario Fall Funders Forum Series is an in-person opportunity to meet representatives from various provincial ministries, who will present and discuss their respective grant programs.

Event Information

• Date: Thursday, December 4, 2025
• Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with networking lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Location: Sarnia Golf & Curling Club, 500 Errol Rd W, Point Edward, ON

The series provides communities, nonprofits, economic development stakeholders and local businesses with direct access to funders, helping them better understand available supports, eligibility criteria, and application timelines.

Whether you represent a municipality, nonprofit, local business, or economic development group, this is your chance to:

• Learn about upcoming grant programs and their timeline
• Understand eligibility requirements and evaluation priorities
• Build relationships directly with funders and other regional stakeholders
• Ask questions in a supportive, in-person setting
  

The in-person event will feature presentations from representatives of:

• Ministry of Rural Affairs (MRA)
• Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT)
• Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming (MTCG)
• Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD)
• Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA)
• Southern Ontario Fund for Investment in Innovation (SOFII)

Networking Lunch
The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership will host a networking lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. All registered attendees are welcome to stay and join us for this informal networking opportunity.
