By coordinating community-based economic development initiatives and working to maintain a commercially attractive environment, we foster new business creation and help ensure that established firms remain and grow in our region.
SLEP is searching for applicants to fill one volunteer position on its Board of Directors. The term of office is three years. Board members must be a resident of and/or own a business in Lambton County (City of Sarnia, Municipality of Lambton Shores, Town of Petrolia, Town of Plympton-Wyoming, Township of Dawn-Euphemia, Township of Brooke-Alvinston, Township of Enniskillen, Township of St. Clair, Township of Warwick, Village of Point Edward, Village of Oil Springs).
All applications will be considered; however, preference will be given to candidates who reside within the South (St. Clair, Dawn-Euphemia, Brooke- Alvinston), Central (Petrolia, Enniskillen, Point Edward, Oil Springs) or North (Lambton Shores, Plympton-Wyoming, Warwick) quadrants.
SLEP is committed to achieving the goal of 50% gender diversity in those Board positions identified as “business directors”, and a Board that is diverse, inclusive, and reflective of the community at large. All applications will be evaluated for appropriate skills and expertise.
