Rail Advocacy in Lambton says VIA Rails enhanced scheduling is a step in the right direction.
RAIL Vice President Mabel Higgins wasn’t surprised by Sarnia Lambton MP Pat Davidson’s announcement last week that will see VIA service improvements and says they have been working closely with the federal government.
Higgins says while VIA will implement a modified schedule that allows for a quicker trip to Toronto with pick ups in Wyoming and Strathroy, more changes are still needed.
Effective December 9, 2013 VIA Rail will implement a modified schedule for train 84 that will give Wyoming and Strathroy their trains back.
