July 5, 2016 – Stephanie Chaves, Blackburn News – Sarnia’s Canatara Beach is named as one of the 22 most beautiful in the country.
NUVO, a quarterly lifestyle magazine, highlights the Lake Huron beach in its latest issue.
Tourism Sarnia-Lambton General Manager Marlene Wood, says its great to see the Blue Flag beach getting national recognition.
“I think it helps with our branding of ‘Discoveries That Matter’ and certainly our beaches are a discovery that matters,” says Wood.
“That really shines brightly on our image as an area to visit as it’s safe, it’s clean, it’s diversified and that it embraces accessibility.”
Canatara Beach and Port Stanley are the only Ontario beaches to make the national list.
