Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership Launches New Website With Contest

The Economic Partnership invites everyone to visit their newly-revised website at www.slep.wpengine.com and find the answers to the following questions: According to the information you will find on the website:

  1. What is the mean average temperature of Sarnia-Lambton?
     
  2. What does B.I.G. stand for?

Submit your correct answers using the “contact us” form found on the website and you will be eligible for one of three prizes donated by the YMCA – Jerry McCaw Family Centre, Manleys Basics Limited, and Cravin’s Chill and Grill.

The Economic Partnership’s newly updated website is laid out in a bright, clear, concise, and easy to navigate format and reflects the organization’s new name and image. It offers a wide variety of information for both the local community and site selectors.

Sarnia-Lambton business people will find a wealth of information on the site – including sections on new business start ups, existing business growth, and exporting advice. The information is straight forward and easy to understand. Three fully searchable databases are also available, providing information on business assistance programs, events, and over 3,800 Sarnia-Lambton businesses.

Today, 78 % of all business site selection projects start on the Internet, compared to 40 % two years ago, according to Whittaker Associates of Holland, Michigan. All of the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s services are provided free of charge.

The new dynamic website management system technology allows for better viewing and enables the Economic Partnership staff to edit and add information in-house, creating cost savings and content that can easily be kept current.
