Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership Wins Awards

The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership received three awards at the Economic Developers Council of Ontario’s February 9th annual conference.

Economic Partnership General Manager, George Mallay, and Edith Wilmot-Quigg, Development Consultant, were on hand in Toronto to receive the First Place award in the Business Directory category for the 2004 Sarnia-Lambton Business Directory.

The office also received an Award of Recognition in the Newsletter category for its Taking Care of Business e-newsletter, and an Award of Recognition in the Advertising Campaign category for its series of Automotive Flash Ads.

In total, over 230 entries from economic development organizations across Ontario were judged in categories covering everything from promotional brochures to infrastructure development projects.

The Economic Developers Council of Ontario is an independent non-profit association of professionals in the field of economic development. It is the largest provincial association of its kind in Canada and one of the largest in North America. Its members come from both the private and public sector.
