Skilled Job Seekers Can Connect with Employers at Networking Event

SARNIA, ON: Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership and Lambton College are hosting an innovative workforce event to help local employers connect directly with skilled workers and hear from industry leaders. The event, “Recruit without Borders” will take place on Thursday, February 23rd from 8:00 am-noon at the Dante Club in Sarnia.

This action-packed morning event will include sessions on diverse hiring practices from business leaders, human resource experts, and skilled workers.

“We have heard the hiring challenges employers are facing so we are hosting this session to create a networking experience to connect with international workers.”, says Cari Meloche, Economic Development Officer of Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership.

“Lambton College international graduates and students provide a wide-range of skills that employers can rely on to meet their hiring needs” says Karen Hendra, Manager, Employment Ontario and Cooperative Education of Lambton College. “We are thrilled for this opportunity to bring together our community to explore hiring solutions”, she adds.
