Tiziana coordinates programming, events, and community partnerships for the Newcomer Hub at the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership. Her role focuses on creating opportunities that help newcomers build connections, access resources, and become active participants in the Sarnia-Lambton community. Through collaborative partnerships with local organizations, employers, service providers, and community groups, she works to strengthen newcomer attraction, retention, and integration across the region.
Prior to joining the Newcomer Hub, Tiziana spent five years with a non-profit employment service provider, where she advanced to an Operations Administrator role. In that role, she gained experience across human resources, accounting, marketing, IT management, employer services, financial supports, and program development, while supporting the organization's day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
With a background spanning employment services, hospitality, sales, customer service, and community engagement, Tiziana has worked closely with newcomers throughout her career. She is particularly passionate about supporting the Spanish-speaking community and has connected hundreds of newcomers with employment resources, career guidance, community programs, and settlement supports.
A graduate of the University of Windsor, Tiziana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages, Linguistics, and Literature, along with a Certificate in Second Language Education. As a second-generation Canadian, she brings both personal perspective and professional experience to her work, helping foster inclusive, welcoming communities where newcomers can thrive and contribute to the region's long-term success.
